Happy Easter - Craft Update

Happy Easter from a wet and windy Ireland...... if i told you i have started not one but four..... blog posts that never got  finished.... tut tut...... i know...... but i am here now, and have things lined up ready for regular posts, so i hope you will stick with me and share.

So following on from my last blog post..... if you follow me on my facebook page you will now know my update on Crafty happenings.....

If not here goes........ i am delighted to say i went to the UK early this year to do a screen test with Create and Craft TV..... great day, meeting some of the Team, and lots of other amazing crafters... If you don't know Create and Craft film live from their studios in Peterborough, i began watching this programme many years ago and if your a new crafter or more experienced you will find it great not only for buying products, but learning techniques, and being part of a great community. Anything from Papercrafts to Sewing, Knitting, Jewellery Making....

Having worked so long in a profession that i was not part of this social media world, putting myself out there and in front of a camera, has taken some getting used to, but i think i will manage it, lol... especially where Craft is involved.

So, did i pass....... yes!!! eek.....i passed for on air demonstrating and to be part of the Content Design team, which i am loving.  These are two projects you will find on the Create and Craft Blog that i have created.

Brea Reese Watercolor Card  - This was one of my first projects using the amazing Brea Reese Watercolor Inks. My first time using and i was super impressed, they are so highly pigmented.

On my Easter Basket i used the inks to colour the Polysterene Eggs and loved the effects they gave, i topped them off with some Tattered Lace Easter Bunnies.... loved how i could bend them to sit them on the eggs.....

I found these inks have so many uses, and great for Artists and Crafters, so go check them out on the Create and Craft Blog, for other tutorials. They are also great for colouring your flowers and embellishments. Also check out the Brea Reese facebook page.

Sadly i could not make the photo shoot for the Create and Craft Magazine, but again go check it out and if your not a member, subscribe. https://www.createandcraft.com/gb/
